What a rug visualizer does on your Shopify store
A shopper taps View in room on your rug's product page, uploads one photo of their room, or takes one on their phone, and sees your rug on their own floor at its real size. The rug sits under the sofa and the coffee table with matching perspective and shadows, so it looks the way it will at home. They can swap sizes and colorways in the same photo, clear their old rug first with Magic Eraser, and, where you turn it on, tap Render for an HD photorealistic image of the finished room. It runs in the browser on phone and desktop, with nothing to download.

What you need: your rug photos, their sizes and a Shopify store
There is no 3D work on your side. Every rug shown in the Visualizer gets a 3D model, and we build it from the product photos you already have, free of charge. You supply the photos and sizes; Imersian does the rest. If your rugs only have lifestyle or angled shots, Design Studio in the Imersian Portal can create clean top-down rug images from them first.

Setup, step by step
Install the Imersian app
Install Imersian from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions, or sign up on the portal and connect your store from the Integration page.
Tag your rugs and let them sync
Add the imersianvisualiserenabled tag to the rugs you want shown. Tagged products sync to the Imersian Portal once a day, or straight away with a manual sync.
Onboard with our team
We build a 3D model of each rug from your photos, check every size and run quality control with you. A one-off onboarding fee applies, and retailers go live within 2 weeks.

In the Shopify Theme Editor, enable the Imersian app embed and add the Imersian Visualizer block under Add to cart. No theme code.

Imersian installs as a Shopify theme app extension, so nothing in your theme code changes and uninstalling leaves your theme as it was. You decide which buttons shoppers see and what they say in the Imersian Portal, for example a See it in my room button beside Add to cart. The button shows only on products that are tagged and live in Imersian. The storefront script is about 65 KB and loads after your page has finished loading.
For catalogues of 100+ and 500+ rugs
A big rug range is mostly a data job, and we do it with you. Each size and colorway is a variant, so each one needs its size in the variant title and its own photo; the Visualizer then places every variant at its real dimensions. Onboarding and quality control carry a one-off onboarding fee, and for large ranges we agree an order with you, often best sellers first. New rugs you tag later are picked up by the daily sync.
