For outdoor furniture retailers

The only visualiser that works indoors and outdoors

Outdoor furniture is judged in daylight, on uneven ground, against a fence or a pool edge. Imersian places lounges, dining sets and umbrellas at true scale in a photo of the shopper's own patio, balcony or garden, with the same Room Visualiser shoppers use for the living room. No other room visualiser does both.

Quick Read

Imersian's Room Visualiser is the only visualiser that works in both indoor and outdoor settings: a shopper photographs their patio, deck, balcony or garden and outdoor furniture is placed at true scale in that photo, in the estimated daylight, with several pieces arranged together and added to cart in one step. It is the same product that works in living rooms, so retailers with indoor and outdoor ranges run one visualiser. 3D models are generated from existing photography and the app installs natively on Shopify.

The problem

Outdoor is where 'will it fit?' gets expensive

A six-seat dining setting that swallows a courtyard. A modular lounge that doesn't leave a path to the barbecue. A cantilever umbrella whose base blocks the door. Outdoor pieces are big, heavy to ship and costly to return, and the space they go into is rarely a neat rectangle. Product photos on a resort deck don't help a shopper with a 3 × 4 metre balcony.

Built for spaces that aren't rooms

What the visualiser does for outdoor product pages

The only visualiser built for indoors and outdoors

Shoppers photograph a patio, deck, balcony or garden exactly as they would a living room. Spatial AI reads the ground plane, scale and light in either setting. Other room visualisers stop at the back door; Imersian is the only one that works in both.

True scale on real ground

A 2.4 m lounge renders at 2.4 m against the shopper's fence, pool edge or planter, so footprint and walkways are judged before checkout.

Daylight, read from the photo

Ambient light is estimated from the shopper's photo, so teak, powder-coated aluminium and outdoor fabrics read the way they will in that light rather than under studio lamps.

Compose the whole setting

Lounge, coffee table, umbrella and outdoor rug are placed together, moved and swapped, and added to cart in one step. Modular pieces can be arranged the way the shopper intends to use them.

3D from the photography you have

The AI 3D Creator generates models from existing product photos. Large, seasonal outdoor ranges can go live without commissioning 3D.

Native on Shopify

The Theme App Extension adds 'See it in your space' to enabled product pages without theme code changes.

From catalogue to 'see it in your space' in three steps

Connect your Shopify catalogue

Install the Imersian app from the Shopify App Store or sign up on the portal. Products sync with their dimensions and variants; you choose which ones to enable.

We turn your product photos into visualiser-ready assets

The AI 3D Creator works from the photography you already have. Flat products like wallpaper and art are prepared as true-size surfaces; furniture and décor become 3D models. Our team checks every asset before it goes live.

Shoppers upload a photo of their room

A 'See it in your room' button appears on each product page. The shopper takes one photo, Spatial AI reads the walls, floor, scale and light, and the product appears at true size. No app, no LiDAR.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the visualiser work outdoors, or only in rooms?

Both, and Imersian is the only room visualiser that does. Spatial AI reconstructs the ground plane, scale and ambient light from the shopper's photo whether it's a lounge room or a deck. There is no separate outdoor mode; the same product page button works for either photo.

How does it handle uneven ground, pavers or grass?

The floor plane is estimated from the photo and products sit on it at true scale. Strong perspective (a standing-height shot with the ground and a boundary such as a fence or wall in frame) gives the best result on outdoor surfaces.

Does bright sunlight cause problems?

Ambient light is estimated from the photo, so a sunlit deck renders products in that light. Very harsh midday shadows can make placement harder to judge; a photo taken in even light works best, and shoppers can retake it in seconds.

Can shoppers arrange modular lounges and full settings?

Yes. Multi-product styling is standard: shoppers place several pieces, move each one, swap variants and add the whole setting to cart in one step.

Do we need 3D models of our outdoor range?

No. The AI 3D Creator generates models from your existing product photography, with a QA pass by our team. Most merchants are live in under a week.
